Deadman's Poker.
Read it straight through while at work. I liked it, and can't wait to get my hands on Deadman's Bluff, the follow up to DMP.
Had plenty of small twists, I related to the father and son fuck ups (me being a fuck up) and a lot of the backroom bs that you hear about but never see.
I Had ONE issue that stuck with me through the whole damn book. They do a version of the WSOP and the buy in is $10,000. Starting chips stacks(hold on to your seats MTT players).....

I had to ask myself should I continue with this joke til the punchline? But it didn't dwell on the Tournament itself indepth so I let it go. The entire book is really a setup for the second one I believe. Too much was left hanging. Gotta love Rufus Steele.
Right now I am loving Full Tilt. They have 90 man SNGs running for satellites to the Red Rock tournament qualifiers. They pay in points if you finish in the (points) more than once. I am set on getting a hoodie so I am busting my ass. 7 Final tables and I just can't close it out. Tilt Factor 7. Watch out walls!

right now? I sleep, eat and play servant to my cats while getting a few hands of poker in each week.
